"INVISIBLE WORLD" has two meanings.
These photographs were taken in the real world at night in Shenzhen, China, and over exposures ranging from a few tens of seconds to over an hour, time is condensed on the film as a "fossil" of unexpected light and shadow. However, our naked eyes can only see that moment, and cannot see the passage of time. This is the first meaning. Here, time and space work together to create a flat image.
In modern China, the rapid and hectic wave of urbanization is sweeping through the city, and changes are happening day by day. A city can be reborn in 30 years, and the transformation of Shenzhen is the most dramatic in China. In the midst of the constant demolition and reconstruction, the city's memories are gradually lost and become unseen. This is the second meaning. If you are in this situation, you will not be able to see the past or the future.
